Gauze rolls are used in the medical field to protect all kinds of injuries including cuts, broken skin, scrapes, or burns. Most often, roll gauze is used on larger wounds and wounds that are exuding too heavily for a regular adhesive bandage.
Gauze rolls are also helpful for injuries on an arm or leg thanks to their long length.
Roll gauze can also be wrapped around the limb to keep other dressings in place. If used as a primary dressing, roll gauze needs to be supported by something adhesive like medical tape.
