Non-Sterile Gauze Sponges 4" x 4" (200/pk)

This package includes 200 4", square, non-sterile gauze sponges. Each sponge is 8-ply, making it extremely absorbent. Gauze sponges are best used to absorb exudate from wounds or apply an antiseptic or antibiotic to a wound. The soft material makes application comfortable even on sensitive skin. Since these sponges are non-sterile they are not as suitable for dressing a wound like sterile gauze pads. These are best used in pre-surgery applications, or for keeping your hands clean when reapplying medicated ointment to a healing wound.
