Safetec Burn Cream temporarily relieves pain associated with minor burns and helps protect against harmful bacteria. For external use only. Benzalkonium Chloride is an antibiotic, which protects the injured area from infection while the Lidocaine HCL reduces pain. To treat minor burns, rinse the burn with cool water, apply a small amount of cream as directed, and keep the area covered with a non-adhesive bandage. Burns with blisters, or burns that drastically change the color of the skin should be assessed by a medical professional and not treated with burn cream.
