The following notifications are made concerning your Automated External Defibrillator (AED). As an AED owner, you are responsible for the following:

1.) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are a class 3 regulated medical device, requiring medical authorization for purchase and ownership. You are required to posses a valid prescription in order to purchase an AED.

2.) Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are to be used with appropriate medical direction. You are required to arrange medical oversight of your AED program with a qualified physician.

3.) Persons authorized to operate AEDs must have training in accordance to state, province or country regulations.

4.) You are required to review the owner/operator manual of your Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and thoroughly familliarize yourself with the setup, operation and maintenance of the equipment.
